Service Conditions :


The selected candidates are governed by all the terms and conditions of service as applicable in General Insurance Corporation of India from time to time. Posts are permanent and the selected candidates on appointment may be posted or transferred to any place in India and abroad, as deemed necessary.HOWEVER, THE INITIAL POSTING WILL BE IN ITS CORPORATE OFFICE IN MUMBAI ONLY.


Selection Procedure :



The selection for the above post shall be on the basis of shortlisting of the candidates based on Written Test and performance in Group Discussion and interview. The total marks for Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview will be 200.
Competitive written examination will be held at 04 centres in India tentatively on Sunday the 4th of December‟2011 . The candidate may choose any one of the following centres, which must be indicated in the Application Format clearly. No change of the centre will be allowed at a later date. Corporation reserves the right to direct candidates to appear at a centre other than the one chosen by them for written examination without monetary assistance. Corporation also reserves the right to hold the written examination at some and not all the examination centres listed below depending upon the number of candidates and other relevant factors.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection takes an additional test for applicants who are not allowed to appear were for the common exam for the post of probation Officers / Management Trainees in the absence of required documentation that is in the middle.

As this is the first joint retreat held, has in relation to the powers contained in IBPS General information and as a single measurement of IBPS decided to conduct an additional test only for those applicants on 13 November 2011.

How to Apply for Supplementary Examination:

04. After submission, an acknowledgment will be given for online registration i.e. an email/ sms intimation will be sent to the candidate's email ID/ Mobile Number originally specified in their online application form.

05. Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Online Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

During the visit, the written examination, the candidates to get their call letters for the additional testing with the original fee payment receipt (e-receipt / NEFT payment) received by the candidate, while instead of remitting fees for the Joint Examination on 18 September 2011 and their photo identity proof and a copy of the original while participating in the written examination.

IBPS Recruitment 2011:

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has authorized the Institute to recruit staff in the public sector banks. For clerical positions, are usually the written examination twice a year and the application can be made online. The marks in this examination will be for a period of one year and will be accepted for clerical cadre in any Public Sector Bank.

Eligibility Criteria:
------------------

The general eligibility criteria that the candidate must be between 18-28 years old with relaxation of the reserved classes. The candidate is qualified to be the written examination appears to be one of the following three:

60% in 10th class or equivalent examination, to be read when passing marks for candidates of reserved classes Score of 50% in Intermediate or equivalent examination or a diploma in banking matters by any recognized university, as the passing marks for reserved candidates read Graduation or equivalent form a recognized university. The above qualification criteria and eligibility in general is called, can, however, the banks have their own eligibility criteria while choosing the candidate.

Written Test:

The examination will be conducted in five categories such as reasoning, computer, numerical and general knowledge and English, each with equal weight (total 250 points 50 points each). The duration of the examination will be 2 and half hours (150 minutes)

The objective type questions carry negative marks for wrong answers to the extent of 0.25 points per wrong answer.

Pre Examination:
-----------------

The IBPS also pre-examination training for the particular class of candidates (as set out in the notice). The candidates who want to use the free pre-exam training should give them a call interest, while making the application. The pre-exam training is free of charge but travel and other expenses by the candidate must be worn.

The IBPS recruitment notice for Clerical cadre in 2011 is open for applications until 26 September 2011. The call letters for written examination can be downloaded from the website on or after 11 November and the written exam will be on 27 November 2011 held.
